YamaMail is a Web based e-mail server running on Windows NT/2000 Servers with IIS 4.0 or higher installed. YamaMail features the followings:
Download YamaMail.msi to your local drive, double click to activate the setup process. You will be asked for the name of the subdirectory to install this software. Once chosen, the files will be copied to that subdiesctory and the following virtual direcotries will be created:
You will also be asked for the e-mail server's domain name. Let's assume it is www.MyWebSite.com.
If your Web Site is www.MyWebSite.com, then the entrance is http://www.MyWebSite.com/YamaMail for everybody.
Since no one has login name and password yet, so the only choice is to click the link "New User?"
Fill out the required information and click on Sign me Up!
With the new user name and password you have chosen, you will be able to login this time.
Once logged in, you will have the following links at your left hand side:
At beginning, your Inbox will be empty. You can send a message to yourself by going to Compose. Just copy the information from the From: field to paste to the To: field, enter some subject, enter some content, and click send button at the bottom.
Click on Inbox at the left, you will be able to see a message sent by yourslf in the mail list.
Click the subject line to open the e-mail. Once opened, you can Delete, Respond, or Forward.
If your Web Site address is http://www.MyWebSite.com, then the only entrance you need to remember is: http://www.MyWebSite.com/YamaMail
