Crystal Ticker is an automatic Stock retrieval toolrunning on Microsoft Windows. XVII. Microsoft ASP VBScript to JSP Java Scriptlet Converter

We know it is easy to develop Web applications by using VBScript under Mcrosoft ASP/IIS environment. But when we talk about scalability and platform independence, Java JSP clearly has the edge. m2j2.exe is a command line program. It takes the ASP file as the first parameter and output the JSP source code on the console. So if you want to convert a file foo.asp to foo.jsp, run m2j2 foo.asp > foo.jsp. Please note that at this stage, the conversion is not 100% correct. You still need to manually adjust code to make it work. But it already saves you 80% of the time. Out Instant-e-Store on JSP project is accomplished by using this m2j2.exe to speed up the process.

However, Jabber is better than these legacy systems because it is Open, Extensible, Decentralized, and Secure. Jabber users can chat with AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc users at the same time by using a single client, JIM (Jabber Instant Messenger). XIX. Yamabay Personal Slideshow

Yamabay Personal Slideshow allows you to make your own slide show from any subdirectory of your hard drive containing JPG files. The Slideshow contains the buttons to Start, Stop, Forward, and Backward the slides. It can also adjust the slides advance speed while the slides are playing.

For example, if your JPG files are at c:\yamashow, then upzip yamashow.zip to c:\yamashow and change the line number 9 of files_local.htm to: currDir = "c:\yamashow". Once this is done, just double click on the file yamabay.htm from the windows Explorer to start the show.
