IEBot beta users manual

IEBot is a set of web browser tools to help you to browse the internet efficiently and conveniently. The major functions are:

1.1 To get the tabular information from the web to your local machine. For example, you can browse to the Yahoo! yellow pages to download all the dentists' contact information into your local file automatically. These information are scattered among many pages and mixed with other information, including the advertisements.

1.2 To Know the structure of the current page. Many software programmers need to know the structure of a web page to know what to look for and what to get. The View feature of our IEBot will allow the users to view the Tables, the Forms, the Links, etc, in a structured way.

1.3 Auto Refresh capability. It is important to have some page automatically refresh periodically to know information in real-time For example, the baseball scores and the stock quote. This tool will have the capability to refresh the current page, with or without the help of the server's help. The user can turn on or Off the refresh capability at will. The user can also set the refresh rate, in seconds.

If you already know the web pages or images file are sequenced by numbers, like pic0001.jpg, pic0002.jpg, then you can turn on the auto-increment feature to make the refresh function work like slideshow.

1.4 Block Advertisements.  It is annoying to have too many advertisments cluttered on the web page. With IEBot's Ads Blocking function tuned on, you have option to block the ads like Google AdSense Advertisement from the Web Pages, and focus on the contents on the Web Pages.
