Mark A. Stansberry of Edmond was inducted into the 2009 Western Oklahoma Hall of Fame onTuesday. Also inducted were Teresa Mullican and Joe Britton, both of Western Oklahoma.
The third county-wide Middlesex County Hall of Fame induction was held November 9 at Friendship Baptist Church in Hartfield. The mistress of ceremony was Ashland Stein Burch. Music was provided by the Hampton Roads Gospel Music Alliance. Delegate Harvey Morgan was the guest speaker.

WESTWOOD—Angry demonstrators rallied at UCLA’s Covel Commons on November 18, interrupting a presentation given by UC President Mark Yudof regarding the budget cuts and fee increase proposal—raising fees by 32 percent—that the University of California campuses will face in two phases beginning in January 2010.
The city will join the ranks of New York, Dallas and Miami when fashionistas gather Sept. 27-Oct. 3 for the event featuring runway shows, internationally known designers and a showcase for area artisans.
